He's All Growed Up

And married!  My little bro's a married man!
He tied the knot with a beautiful, smart, sweet, fun girl.
I'm so excited to be able to call her "sister".
Our family just grew a little!
Hm... I think they just came for the food...
Now we're smiling!

Visiting family and old friends...
Timmy got passed around :)
Lucky me!  I actually got to sample some of the yummy goodies.
Cute girls!  They danced around together the whole evening...

A Wedding & An Anniversary

Little Dan is in a tuxedo and married... that's just weird!
I watched Dan grow up and couldn't be happier for him :)
He found his match, and she's a real sweetheart!

{JP and Seth each took a turn being Dan's Young Men's President back in the day.  They enjoyed bragging about what a fine young man he turned out to be.  All thanks to them, of course!}
This was one of the most beautiful, spiritual, hilarious dinner receptions we've been to!
And it was so great to give old friends from back home a squeeze.
Congrats, Dan and Maggie!!
JP got to visit with some of his Young Men from Glenwood, AR.
He may not be their Y.M. President anymore, but he'll always feel like it!
He loves these kids.
Half way through the wedding dinner, it suddenly dawned on the husband and me that it was our seven year anniversary weekend!!
How did we forget?
Hm... it must have had something to do with kids, work, kids, work... kids... pregnancy, schedules, kids...work...
Yup!  We're lame like that.
But, don't worry.  We're still keeping our love alive :)

We decided to visit the Historic Beehive House on Temple Square after the reception at the Joseph Smith building.
We had never been before, and it was the perfect opportunity to explore without little fingers touching and grabbing things.
Besides, it was our anniversary!  We had to do something special, right? :)
Brigham Young's home is beautiful!
The antique furniture, dishes, clothing, books, light fixtures, wall paper, wood work, etc. draws you back to the early days of the saints and helps you visualize their life.
I'm a sucker for history.  So, I loved the experience and drove the sister missionary guides a little crazy with my slow pace...
It's hard to take in every little detail at first glance!
The one thing that has left me stumped is their kitchen.
It was tiny!
How did those women make such large amounts of food for all those children in such a small space?
Not to mention, the dining room table only sat six (if I counted right).
Boggles my mind!
No more whining about my itty bitty cooking space.
I have a dishwasher, fridge, stove, oven, counter-top and running water.
What a load those modern conveniences would have taken off those amazing women.
So, seven years have come and gone.
Where did they go?
It feels like my Jonny's always been a part of my life.
I can't imagine it without him.
We have brought each other more happiness and sorrow then we knew was possible!  HaHaHa ;)
I'm looking forward to spending many, many more years and eternity with my best friend.
Lots of adventures await us.
I'm blessed to have Jonny to share them with.

Thank you for the best years of my life, JP.
I love ya :)

Sarah's Married!

My girl, Sarah, is finally a married woman :) We've been looking forward to this day for a while, and I'm just super glad she found such a nice guy to spend the rest of her life with!
Touching up and helping mom with her corsage before walking down the isle...
The kiddo's getting ready for the big moment!
Sarah's mom being escorted by Sarah's brother...
Great wedding face, right?  Jeez...  way to go, Sarah (me)!  I'll be honest, all I could think about was not landing on my face in front of everyone.  As for Aubrey, she's always looking lovely :)

Little J (Sarah's boy) the ring bearer with his cousin the flower girl... AND there she is!  The beautiful bride making her grand entrance on her daddy's arm.

Cheesin' it!
The bridesmaids...
As a side note:  Aubrey (the beauty standing next to me) is the one that taught Sarah the missionary discussions while we were working in Michigan.  We were all there on Sarah's baptism day.  And what a day that was!  So, we're a tight little group of friends :)  Special!
Trying to stay happy during picture time.
My three little chicks...
Take 20...
Aaww....mom with her little boy...
The men of the house!  J's cool dad...
The handsome couple!  And then Tom eats her face...
Dad, you're the man!  He held onto the kids while mom spent time with the bride :)   Couldn't have done it without him.
Playing princess with moms flowers...
They belong together...
A family...
The kids just HAD to be in every picture they could.  Fine with us!
The girls!

YAY!!!  She did it!  We threw a couple cheers for our girl.
Congrats Sarah Lynn!!  You made a beautiful bride and I couldn't be happier for you.

Love ya like a sista XOXO
