Lowes Xtreme Sports

My friend Aubrey found this AWESOME sports gym for the kids!
It's so much fun, clean(er), and affordable.
We were desperate to get the children out of the house...since they've been cooped up inside for DAYS (thanks to Christmas break and mounds of snow)!
The children bounced, ran, swung, climbed, slid, and screamed for almost two hours.  None Stop!
It still didn't drain all their bottled up energy, but it definitely helped.
They've been begging to go back for more ever since!

{The girls playing in the foam pit with little T.}
Baby T. would have played on this airplane teeter totter the WHOLE time if my leg didn't give out from bouncing him!
The trapeze was definitely the favorite.

Aubrey ended up spending most of the time holding the trapeze for the girls!
She's just awesome like that.
We even talked Minnie into giving it a try!
It didn't take long for Sport to get brave enough to try a few tricks...
C.'s one of those kids that loves to be a super hero and help whenever he's needed!
Minnie has a little crush on him :)
I don't blame her!  He's a sweetie.
Princess struggled to get out of the foam pit!
Baby T. tried to help...
Taking turns on the trampolines...
Bouncing little T.
He laughed so hard!
CHEESE!
Our little monkeys climbing the rock wall...
The boys trying to outdo each other...
Bouncing down the slide into the pit...
So fun!
Phew...I'm ready for a nap!

Christmas At PreSchool

Mrs. L's field trip to visit Santa and sing Christmas carols to the holiday shoppers was a big hit with her little PreSchoolers!
They were full of giggles and smiles.
Minnie was shocked to see Santa in his PJ's though!
She said, "Mom, are you sure that's Santa?  He's wearing pajamas!"
But, she warmed right up to him and asked for a ballerina gymnastics doll and a little Dora doll.
Then she filled a request really quick for her big brother and sister, because she wasn't sure they would get to see him this year :)
Minnie's fun PreSchool class with Santa...

Here's a little video clip of Minnie singing Christmas Carol's with her class...
{Sorry it's so bumpy!  I was trying to balance a screaming child.}

 Thank you for an exciting semester of PreSchool, Mrs. L!
Minnie has learned to write her name and all the letters in the alphabet, she can count her numbers and write to 10, she's learned so many words in sign language, knows her colors and basic shapes, can recite the Pledge of Allegiance, sing songs, and so much more.
We've watched her come out of her shy little shell and gain a lot of confidence in herself.
We're so pleased with our Minnie girl!

Junior Choir

Our children love to sing.
Most of the time at the top of their lungs until I remind them we have neighbors that don't want to hear it!
But, I'm so glad they enjoy anything that involves musical instruments and singing.
Hopefully it lasts and never becomes "un-cool"!

This year Sport and Princess were invited to join Junior Choir at their school.
It isn't a very big choir yet, but the director is one of the sweetest ladies I know and the children think she's amazing!
They were beside themselves with excitement when I agreed to let them sign up with her choir.
The end of year arts program has been talked about for months now.
Princess was worried that I would forget!

{Watching the little Kindergarten through 3rd graders warm up was pretty comical}
Their goal this semester was to learn rhythm, how to follow their director, and to sing a variety of songs in unison, with harmonies as a group.
I think they did an awesome job!
More importantly, they had a lot of fun with it.
Especially Sport.
He was placed next to his little sister and tried to throw her off count (what are big brother's for?)...

Thank you for coming to cheer them on!
You made their night special.

 Way to go kid-Os!

It's so much fun being a mom :)

Little Indians

It's that fun time of year again!
When I get to watch our children sing and dance for the holidays!
To kick start our Thanksgiving, Minnie did an Indian dance and sang with her preschool class.
It was pretty adorable.

{Mrs. L does such a great job!}

Saying Thank You...

The children get excited to perform for their families.
I love this age!
And I love the holidays.
There's so much to be grateful for.
For one, I get to be this darling little girls momma.

School Halloween Fun

It was non-stop partyin' around here!
We played until we were too tired and wound up on sugar to sleep.
Now that the fun is over, I've been forcing fruit and veggie smoothies down the children's throats and scrubbing the sugar off their teeth.
I'm so excited it's November!!
I've got my pumpkin spice oils plugged in, and I'm pulling out the Thanksgiving decorations.
I've been anticipating this month all year long!
There's so much to prepare for!
But, first...

Here are a few Halloween highlights from school.
The Kid-Os counted down the days to their school parties for weeks and absolutely loooooved showing off for dad and mom!
{Minnie colored her sack house (along with her pre-school friends) and filled it with goodies for her pre-school buddies to trick-or-treat at during school.  Such a cute idea!}

Minnie's pre-school class sang some holiday tunes for us after their party...

Here's a little clip of our singing bumblebee...
She just loves performing.
{Sorry...I know it's a little bouncy!  I was trying to manage the camera while keeping a wiggly baby boy in my arms.}

Mom thinks you're pretty darn adorable, Minnie!

After Minnie's shin-dig, we rushed to see Sport and Princess in their school's costume parade!
I love seeing the grins on their faces as they march around with their classmates.
All the parents cheer the children on, and they get so excited!
{The Racer giving high-fives to his fans}

This was Princess's first costume parade...she was bursting at the seams!
What a pretty cowgirl...
Sport got to lead his class with his teacher in the parade this year.
That's totally awesome, you know! :)
After the parade, I got to help out with the parties!
I spent the afternoon decorating cookies, reading books, and passing out doughnuts.
Great fun, I tell ya!
Those kids are a hoot!
I enjoy my time with them.
We got frosting and sprinkles everywhere!
Before heading home, Princess's class treated us to a silly zombie song...

The day isn't over yet!
