Sweet Baby Addy

In the midst of all the chaos, my little sister Cami added another baby girl to our family!
My fourth niece :)
She is the sweetest, most cheerful baby.
I didn't want to put her down.
She made me feel so happy and peaceful.
What a little doll she is!
Taking it all in...

Way to go, Cam!
You did it again XOXO

Our Last Goodbye

Snuggling with my babies for the last time in the little apartment we called home for six years.
It's been a long day of moving!!
And although we have lots of happy memories here, we are ready!
Vacuuming our apartment for the last time!
My little helper...
Unplugging the vacuum EVERY time I turn it on, just for laughs!
I thought I'd never get the cleaning done :)
My girls cleaning the baseboards...I think :)

Minnie came to help me finish up some cleaning at the apartment today, and although all the furniture and things are gone, she still took her boots off and placed them in their usual spot in her bedroom.
Yes, I'm a tad sentimental ;)
I'm going to miss so many things about this place!

So long little home.

Her Favorite Team

While digging through the hats in the closet,
trying to find a sports team for my two oldest to represent at school for Spirit Day,
Princess came running into the room with Sport's old baseball cap yelling, "Mom!  I found my team hat!  Sport's team is my favorite!!"
Really?  How sweet is that!
Her big brother was grinning from ear to ear.
I could see he felt very cool at that moment.

Mommy brag post:
This girl doesn't cease to amaze me.
She makes friends quickly and has such a big heart.
I've been blown away with how fast she's learned to read, write, and do math!
Her teacher thinks she's adorable and is constantly sending me pictures and e-mails about what a big help she is in the classroom.
Did I mention she earned the "Honor Roll Certificate" in kindergarten for getting all A's and having the best attitude?
That's my girl!
I rely on her so much (maybe a little too much?), because she's such a capable little girl.
I can count on her to clean up messes, make her little brother happy, help with dinner and dishes, vacuum floors...among other things :)
She always reminds us to read scriptures and suggests we sing a primary song before family prayer...without fail.
I don't know what her big brother would do without having her around to wrestle and harass.
And her little sister is definitely her very best friend.
They are inseparable.
She loves her daddy and reminds him daily that she's going to marry him someday.
I hope he remains her one and only love for many, many more years!!
I love her giggles, silly jokes, rockin' dance moves, creative dress ups, and finding her art work strewn out around the house.
She makes me smile every single day.
I'm so grateful to be her mom!

I love you, Princess XOXO

Superstar

Our Princess is the Scholar of the Week in her kindergarten class.
She's been so excited to decorate her poster, have mom read her favorite book, show off her favorite toy, share her favorite treat, and be the class superstar!

{She spent days coloring her poster just right!}
Minnie wanted in on the pictures!
They are such giggle boxes together :)

Sisterly love!
What would I do without my girls?
You two will always be your mom's superstars XOXO

Phone Gems

The children are back in school, and I'm already missing our lazy days!
It's still snowing, but now I have to actually drive, shop, and carry children around in it.
Not to mention, get everyone out of bed bright and early in a cold, dark house!
But, I'm doing my best to keep a smile on my face.
Children have a way of seeing the happiness in everything.
They don't mind the snow one bit.
In fact, they love it!
And school is something they look forward to...aside from the homework.
I need to be more like them!

While going through my phone this morning, I came across several pictures that put a smile on my face :)
The children love to take pictures with my phone, and sometimes they turn out pretty darn cute...and hilarious!
Here are a few of my faves:
Profile shot!  Our handsome boy when he still had all his teeth...
Princess showing us her muscles...
Dress up and hair!
They do it all on their own...

Eyeball!
Hawaii style!
She's a ninja!

I needed these today...and every day,

Cold & Cozy

There's been a blizzard raging outside for the past couple of days now!
Well, maybe not a blizzard...BUT, there's been wind and lots of snow.
I'm pretty much over the whole snow thing.
But, the children are on Christmas break still,  so I haven't had to attempt car pool or errands in it...yet.
I prefer to stay snuggled up on my heater, watching movies with my babies.
It's been nice!  If only it wasn't coming to an end soon.

{The girls decided they needed to venture out into the snow.  It lasted about ten minutes, but they had fun in the powder!}

Sport takes after his mom in so many ways.
We prefer to stay out of the cold and watch movies while eating left over Christmas :)
Baby Timmy is such a snuggler.
He likes to take a time out from playing just to snuggle up to me and bounce his leg.
It only lasts about two minutes, but I eat it up!
Sledding after dark is SUCH a favorite.
The children beg dad the moment he gets home from work for a ride!
They have a pretty awesome daddy, let me tell you.
He'll pull them around in a snow storm...just because.
And I say a prayer every time that he won't end up in a ditch on that little "meep meep" of his-as we like to call the scooter!
Even the neighborhood kids come running out to join in the fun!

A little hot chocolate afterwords just tops off their night.

It's going to hurt going back to school schedules in a few day!

Christmas Morning

What a blast!!
I was actually "awake" this year (I'm always awake...per se. Just extra groggy.) and able to enjoy it!
The children were so cute and excited.
Stocking were the first to come down, of course...
They each had their goodies placed in neat rows.
They wanted to see everything!
Sport has been asking for a bow and couldn't believe mom actually got him one!
This one didn't have pointed ends that could potentially stab someone, which is just what I was looking for.
He loved it!
The girls got their tin tea set and our spy got his binoculars...
A giant art kit for our little artists!
It's kept them busy for weeks.
A compass from dad for our adventurer...
He did a little dance for us after opening this one!
The long, anticipated dolls were finally unwrapped!!!
These girls could not stop giggling.
They've been hoping for and talking about these dolls for months!
(Please don't grow up.  Your mommy loves the dollies too!)
Sport's had his eye on this rubber band gun for weeks.
He kept trying to save his penny's for it and has had it on his wish list!
So, he was beside himself with joy when he opened his box and found this beast of a gun.
It can hold and shoot up to ten rubber bands at a time!!!
Yikes.
Bringing out the big one!
The girls kept saying, "I just know it's our Gymnastics set.  I know it!!!"
They were pretty sure it would come, because they've wanted one all year...and have not failed to remind me on a daily basis.
Lucky for the girls, they have a Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle(s) for toy makers in Arkansas that gave them their wish!
(Can you believe my dad and brothers made these??  They are so cute!  And my mom cut all the mats out for them out of a yoga mat.  So creative.  I just love them!)
It was pretty much the best Christmas present EVER!!!
The smiles never left their faces.
I still find them taking their "little girls" to Gymnastics daily.
Coaching their dolls!
Check out those mad skillz...
The bar is definitely a favorite!
Sport showed little Timmy how to wind up his truck and play catch with his new ball...
Baby Timmy got his Lightning McQueen car!
He LOVES cars and thought this was the coolest toy.
I find him pushing himself around the house making car sounds during the day.
Makes me smile :)
Dad and sport had to get in on the Gymnastics action...
Check out that vault!
Our little scientist really needed a science kit this year.
It was one of the best decision I've ever made!
It kept him entertained for weeks.
Sport has always loved experimenting and learning new things.
(Digging for fossils)
The girls changed their "little" girls outfits and took them ice skating and rollerblading!
(Don't these dolls look like their twins?  Too cute!!)
Sport assembled his wood airplane.
It took him a while, but he eventually figured it out!
Way to go, buddy!
The girls designed princess clothes with their new art kit...
I lounged in my new jammies from my JP!
They are sooo soft.  I pretty much live in them now.
My baby Timmy likes to snuggle up to them too...
Check it out!  He found dinosaur bones!
I took a little peek on the girls Christmas evening to see what they were up to.
Sure enough, they were coaching their girls in Gymnastics!
Thank you, Grandpa and Grandma for making their dreams come true!!

Hopefully I can upload some Christmas videos for Grandpa and Grandma soon.

We feel very blessed to have had such a wonderful Christmas this year!
We hope you did too.
