Easter

We got pictures of the grandkids for Grandma Edie, hunted for treats, played games, decorated eggs, and ate yummy food the Saturday of Easter weekend this year!
It was a lot of fun :)

Baby Tim wasn't sure why he was finding eggs with goodies all over the grass, but he was definitely okay with it!
He stuffed his mouth as fast as he could...
The girls dividing their goods...
Dying eggs with cousins and friends!

Little Tim's white shirt didn't last long :)
I'm glad I brought an extra just in case!

I love Easter!
To me...
It means that Spring has finally arrived!
It means time to relax, play, and eat with family.
It means I get to dress my children up.
But, most importantly, it means that I can repent, be forgiven, and live with the ones I cherish most for all eternity.
I thank my Heavenly Father for sending his son Jesus Christ to make all of this possible for me (us).
I hope you had a happy Easter :)

Time Out

We decided to drop everything and take a little time away from stress to have fun!
So we headed off to Trafalga with some friends to have a crazy, good time :)
The Frog Hopper was definitely a hit.
I was surprised Minnie gave it a try!
She cringed and laughed at the same time :)
Brave girl!
Princess out-climbed the boys on the rock wall!
They pretended not to notice. HaHa!
She's our monkey.
These two buddies played a mean game of bowling...

After a round of golf, we were all feeling much happier!
Like my dad says, "There's always time for an ice cream cone!"
...or, in our case, a little fun  :)

100's Day

One of my favorite things about the school our children attend is their love of parent volunteers!
I can spend as much time as I want in the classroom, field trips, and parties.
In fact, the teachers LOVE the help and the scholars LOVE the parents.
Today was Princess's 100th Day of School party, and I got to spend some time with our girl!
She gets so excited to show me her classroom and introduce me to her buddies.
I have fun watching her little personality around her teacher and friends!
She's a confident, friendly, happy girl, and that makes me happy :)
I can't help but feel a little sad at how fast she's growing up though.

We played games, ate treats, stamped crowns, and made necklaces out of a 100 fruit loops.
I  just had to laugh at her determination to beat the boys at EVERYTHING at her table.
She wasn't too worried about color coordinating or perfection, just that the boys didn't outdo her!
Such a competitive goofball!

I love this girl.

Airplanes

With the house, move, projects, and stress that goes with it all, I have missed our kid-Os.
So, I took some time the other day for a little field trip mommy time!
We hit up Xtreme Sports with some friends and played in the foam pits, trampolines, and trapeze.
Then, we got the grand tour of where our friend-more-like-family Jer works on airplanes!
The children thought it was SO COOL!
And buddies Cade and Cam were pretty excited to show off where their daddy works :)
Jer showing the boys all the different parts...
It was all Sport could do to keep from touching anything!
Up into the private jet the kids went for a peek...
The boys got to sit in the cockpit and pretend to fly...
It was all very exciting!
"I'm going to fly this one day, mom.  Do you want to be the pilot or co-pilot?"-Sport

Thanks for showing us around, Jer!
You have a very "cool" job.

Lowes Xtreme Sports

My friend Aubrey found this AWESOME sports gym for the kids!
It's so much fun, clean(er), and affordable.
We were desperate to get the children out of the house...since they've been cooped up inside for DAYS (thanks to Christmas break and mounds of snow)!
The children bounced, ran, swung, climbed, slid, and screamed for almost two hours.  None Stop!
It still didn't drain all their bottled up energy, but it definitely helped.
They've been begging to go back for more ever since!

{The girls playing in the foam pit with little T.}
Baby T. would have played on this airplane teeter totter the WHOLE time if my leg didn't give out from bouncing him!
The trapeze was definitely the favorite.

Aubrey ended up spending most of the time holding the trapeze for the girls!
She's just awesome like that.
We even talked Minnie into giving it a try!
It didn't take long for Sport to get brave enough to try a few tricks...
C.'s one of those kids that loves to be a super hero and help whenever he's needed!
Minnie has a little crush on him :)
I don't blame her!  He's a sweetie.
Princess struggled to get out of the foam pit!
Baby T. tried to help...
Taking turns on the trampolines...
Bouncing little T.
He laughed so hard!
CHEESE!
Our little monkeys climbing the rock wall...
The boys trying to outdo each other...
Bouncing down the slide into the pit...
So fun!
Phew...I'm ready for a nap!

Cold & Cozy

There's been a blizzard raging outside for the past couple of days now!
Well, maybe not a blizzard...BUT, there's been wind and lots of snow.
I'm pretty much over the whole snow thing.
But, the children are on Christmas break still,  so I haven't had to attempt car pool or errands in it...yet.
I prefer to stay snuggled up on my heater, watching movies with my babies.
It's been nice!  If only it wasn't coming to an end soon.

{The girls decided they needed to venture out into the snow.  It lasted about ten minutes, but they had fun in the powder!}

Sport takes after his mom in so many ways.
We prefer to stay out of the cold and watch movies while eating left over Christmas :)
Baby Timmy is such a snuggler.
He likes to take a time out from playing just to snuggle up to me and bounce his leg.
It only lasts about two minutes, but I eat it up!
Sledding after dark is SUCH a favorite.
The children beg dad the moment he gets home from work for a ride!
They have a pretty awesome daddy, let me tell you.
He'll pull them around in a snow storm...just because.
And I say a prayer every time that he won't end up in a ditch on that little "meep meep" of his-as we like to call the scooter!
Even the neighborhood kids come running out to join in the fun!

A little hot chocolate afterwords just tops off their night.

It's going to hurt going back to school schedules in a few day!

Christmas With The Fam

To sit back, relax, eat good food and visit with family while the children play with their cousins, is definitely on the top of my favorites list!
Especially on Christmas day :)

{Sport and Princess found dad's hat and glasses...}
Two of the most amazing kids I know watching the crazy cousins run around...

{K. you're hilarious!}
Sport chillaxing with his cuz...
Just taking pictures and opening gifts...
C. showing me his angry face!
And beautiful E. looking like a princess in her new jewelry...
 K. helping her mom pull off the wrapping...
A present from Grandpa John!  What could it be??
A Lego Hero!!!  Sport was definitely excited!
Minnie waiting patiently to open her gift from Grandma Edie...
And she got her very own Dr. puppy in a purse!!
Princess gave me her sneaky look of excitement...
And she got a Dr. puppy too!!
Our Minnie is such a goofball. She's learned to "wink" and wanted to wink for every picture!
Little Timmy got a jeep from Grandpa John and Grandma Edie!  He loooooves it...
Thank you, Grandpa and Grandma for all the goodies!!!
You know how to make Christmas so much fun!
Uncle J. with his two boys...
And Sport talking about his Lego Hero with Grandpa John...
Listening to Grandma Edie tell stories is definitely something Minnie loves.
She thinks Grandma is hilarious!
Today Grandma read a Christmas story :)
These two little drama queens make me laugh.
Their imaginations and stories are just too cute and funny!
They were getting ready to work on their patients with their Dr. puppies...

We love our family time!
